In combination with waterborne polyurethane, polyacrylate, etc., it\u00a0can be used for water-borne coatings. Thanks to its low viscosity and ease of handmixing, Aquolin 278 can be used to prepare \u201csolvent-free hardener\u201d in order to produce\u00a0ultralow VOC coatings. The validity of this product is for\u00a012 months, performance assessment is recommended before use after shelf life. The\u00a0product should be protected from freezing during storage. Water dispersible\u00a0polyisocyanates are very moisture-sensitive and react with water to form carbon dioxide and insoluble ureas. The generation of carbon dioxide can lead to dangerous increases in pressure. The containers must always be kept tightly closed and the access of water in all forms must be prevented.
