Generally speaking,it has good compatibility with the solvents listed. However, the solutions<\/h3>\nformed must be tested for their storage stability. Only PU grade solvents\u00a0should be used (max. 0.05 % water, absence of reactive groups such as\u00a0hydroxyl or amino groups). Aliphatic hydrocarbons are unsuitable as solvents.<\/h3>\nDesmodur\u00aeultra N 3390 BA should not be thinned to below a solids content of\u00a040 %. Prolonged storage of a solution with a lower binder content may result\u00a0in turbidity and sedimentation.<\/h3>\n<\/h3>\nCompatibility<\/b><\/strong>\uff1a<\/b><\/strong><\/h3>\nGenerally speaking, Desmodur\u00ae\u00a0ultra \u00a0N \u00a03390 \u00a0BA can be mixed with\u00a0the following products: aliphatic polyisocyanates such as Desmodur\u00ae\u00a0N \u00a0100, N 75, N 3200, N 3400, ultra N 3600 and Desmodur\u00ae\u00a0Z 4470;aromatic polyisocyanates such as Desmodur\u00ae\u00a0L\/ultra L, HL and IL\/ultra IL;polyester polyols such as Desmophen\u00ae\u00a0670 and polyacrylates. However, the\u00a0compatibility of the combinations used should always betested.<\/h3>\nDesmodur\u00ae\u00a0ultra N 3390 BA is not compatible with branched polyester polyols\u00a0such as Desmophen\u00ae\u00a0651 or polyether polyols such as Desmophen\u00ae\u00a01380 BT.<\/h3>\n\u00a0<\/b><\/strong><\/h3>\nProperties \/ Applications\uff1a<\/b><\/strong><\/h3>\nDesmodur\u00ae\u00a0ultra \u00a0N \u00a03390 \u00a0BA is used primarily as the hardener component\u00a0for lightfast two-component polyurethane coatings withhigh resistance\u00a0to chemicals and weathering,very good gloss retention and outstanding\u00a0mechanical properties. Preferred co-reactants are polyacrylate or polyester\u00a0polyols.<\/h3>\nThe main applications for systems based on Desmodur\u00ae\u00a0ultra \u00a0N \u00a03390 \u00a0BA\u00a0are air- andforce-drying coatings for automotive OEM, automotive refinishing,transportation, industrial finishing and plastics.<\/h3>\n
